Information

Ann McCommas
Ann McCommas is founder and director of AIM Seminars. She is author of the book “A Busy Woman’s Guide to Empowering Time, Mind, Body and Spirit.”
Prior to founding AIM Seminars in 1980, Ann managed four branch offices for Kelly Health Care in the Phoenix and Tucson areas. It was with this experience that she began leading workshops addressing change and stress.
After the death of her infant daughter, and later her husband’s passing, Ann began her healing journey when she was in her early 20’s. “I believe this work was divinely inspired, because I started my business with less than $100, and for the past two decades, I have been blessed to work closely with Native Americans,” she says.
Ann facilitates Stress Management, Care for the Caregiver, Second Half of Life, Plus Preserving Native Culture and Personal Wellness seminars in “Hidden” Hawaii.

LOU ANN TAMPOS, R.T.R
Lou Ann Kai’aokamalie Tampos is of Kanaka Maoli (Native Hawaiian) and Portuguese decent. She was taught the Hawaiian culture and traditions as a way of life. Today she shares the Aloha Spirit, proud heritage and rich culture, through language; music, and artifacts that are deeply rooted in the ancient historical and spiritual traditions of Hawaii. "Our vision as an 'Ohana is to pass on the Aloha Spirit of our kapuna (elders)."

Al McCommas, BS
Al is a native Arizonan with 30 years
of experience as a Supervisor and Manager in the Electrical
Engineering field. During the same period he taught for
15 years at the Junior College level. He has a Bachelor
of Science in Electrical Engineering and numerous certificates
for teaching and leadership training. Al teaches Customer
Service, Team Building, Leadership and Problem Solving.

ROGER I. LESLIE, BA
Roger’s 11 years of experience as General Manager of the Hon-Dah Resort and Conference Center provide him with a powerful background to motivate. Roger’s specialty is Personal Motivation for Success, in which he teaches the differences between cultures personality traits and habits. As a member of the White Mountain Apache Tribe, he also enjoys teaching skills in Cultural Diversity and Sensitivity.Roger facilitates Team Building, Conflict Management, Leadership Skills, and How to Become and Remain Employable.

Denise Alley, BA
A Cherokee/ Shawnee/ Otoe from Oklahoma, Denise loves working with Native Youth and adults. With a strong belief in the importance of personal and professional development, Denise has a passion to lead participants into developing their own positive vision. She serves on the Arizona Board of Directors for American Indian Services, and facilitates workshops and conferences across the United States and Canada. Her sessions include: Team Building, Customer Service, Administrative Professional’s Day, Plus Self Esteem and Motivation.

Delmy Fierro, BA
Delmy is of Mayan, Spanish and French descent. She holds a B. A. in Business Administration. She trains personnel who are challenged by special employment problems and likes to use real-life experiences and hands-on techniques.

April Mafi
April is of the White Mountain Apache Tribe and Mayan descent. She has won many dance contests and specializes in Latin Dance and multi-cultural choreography. April feels that self-esteem is the song you write or feel about yourself, the realization of your own rhythm. April facilitates workshops in Dancing as a Release for Anger, Fear and Frustration.

Claralynn Merino, Ph.D.
Claralynn Merino, a White Mountain Apache, has a Master’s degree in Education Administration and a Ph.D. in Counseling. An educational consultant, Claralaynn is deeply aware of cultural education as a great influence in learning. She also directs a Native American cultural dance and musical group for high school students and community members as an alternative to gang related activities. Claralynn uses music, song, dance and traditional healing arts to show the magic of the sacred hoop learning. Claralynn facilitates Care for the Caregiver, Skills for Managing Change and Stress in a Native Setting Plus Second Half of Life workshops and retreats.

Caroline Bemore, BA
Caroline is a member of the Dine’ Nation. She is presently finishing her Master’s thesis in American Culture Studies. Her professional experiences include Navajo Linguistics, Bilingual/Bicultural Education and Training and Development. She presently supervises the Fort Defiance Diabetes Program. Caroline facilitates STRATEGIC PLANNING and NATURAL HEALING, the ROAD to WELLNESS.

Helen Eriacho
Helen is a member of the Dine’ Nation and is AIM’s Business Manager. Her background is in working with homeless families. Currently pursuing a degree in Human Services, Helen’s love is in working to improve the well-being of her Native relatives. Helen teaches Improve your Relationship with Money workshops.

Cheyenne Autumn, MS
Cheyenne has a Master’s degree in sociology. She is a wellness consultant with a background in both the corporate world and Native American Community. Cheyenne is author of “Who’s Going to Tell the Children”? Her workshops include Finding Balance in an Unbalanced World, Making Friends with Time, and Never Underestimate the Power of Laughter.

Kealoha May Cody Alo, JD
KeAloha is the 2001-2002 “Miss Indian World”, where she traveled around the world sharing the beauty of Native cultures. She is White Mountain Apache, Hawaiian and Samoan. KeAloha creatively teaches Living a Life with Purpose, on Purpose, Hawaii 101, and College Bound, an Attainable Goal.

Wali Murray, A.A. Sociology
Referred to by many gang members as O.G. (Original Gangster), Wali was an original member of the L.A. Crips. After prison, he turned his life around and began working with a behavioral health organization that focuses on youth and addictions. A combination of his street knowledge and his AA degree in counseling has given him the opportunity to help many youth and parents through troubled times. Wali’s workshops include Anger Management Skills for Men and Gangs and Drugs Destroy Dreams."
